Going retro

Sometimes I regress.

Yesterday my regression involved playing a little original NES Mario and Mario 3, using NESticles on my PC. A little bothersome using the keyboard (I couldn't get my gamepad to work), but satisfying nonetheless.

Emulators rock. I use Jnes personally for NES emulation. It's a 32-bit Windows program. I believe Nesticle is 16 bit. Nesticles claim to fame is that it'll run on even really old PC's, but Jnes is designed for newer ones. I've never had a problem with it and it runs every game perfectly with good sound.

I've also got emulators for GameBoy Advance, SNES, and MAME (arcade games). They are a blast to play.

I'm a very nostalgic gamer.
