Bad salsa

Friday night I got a craving for some salsa that we bought on Block Island. It was a very unique salsa, made from olives.

When I took it out of the refrigerator, I thought about that fact that it was a month old and was made without preservatives. But I detected no mold growing on it, and it smelled fine.

I had a bunch of it with blue corn tortilla chips.

And had a very rough night. I felt exactly like the time I had to spend a few days in the hospital with an intestinal blockage.

But everything came out all right in the morning, so to speak.
