A strange Saturday

There were so many things I wanted to do yesterday. I did exactly one of them: Finished examining my entire collection of 1.44MB floppy disks, copying files that might be worth archiving to CDs, and throwing them and all of my coaster CDs away. Two trash bags full. This required a significant portion of my day.

In the plans were also an office party, karaoke at Hi-Way, and catching Gina's last concert. But Carolyn was really sick so we did none of the above. Just stayed in and watched Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and the first episode of the last season of Queer as Folk.

It was a strange Saturday.

I'm sorry about my passively hostile post today about the show. I hope Carolyn feels better. Being sick is awful.

Good thing, though -- you might get a second chance to see my last show...You don't go to bars, do you? I posted recently about playing at the phyrst in 2 weeks but i won't go on until 11:30 or midnight. I don't know how late you'd want to stay out on a Monday night. Let me know.

LJ has been doing strange things lately. I got a bunch of duplicate email notifications about posts I already read, but I didn't get the notification on this reply until just now--three days later!

I did notice your engagement at the Phyrst on the 12th. You're right, I'm not much of a bar person, and it is late for a Monday night, but I put it on my calendar as a possibility.

Carolyn was sick enough to miss work on Monday, and that never happens. Hopefully she'll be better by Sunday, because she's in the State College Choral Society and they are doing the Voices of the Holocaust concert then.

Yeah, being sick is the pits.
