Feng Shui Clutter Control

Carolyn recently purchased a cute little book, 10-Minute Clutter Control: Easy Feng Shui Tips for Getting Organized, by Skye Alexander (also author of 10-Minute Tarot, 10-Minute Magic Spells, and 10-Minute Crystal Ball).

I don't need ancient Chinese wisdom to tell me that my office is way overdue for some clutter control. And I think I need medicine stronger than the 10-Minute technique of sorting into three boxes--(1) throw-away, (2) keep, and (3) decide later. What I need are about 10 good-sized boxes to throw away stuff. I'm beginning with my books. I've already identified two boxes worth of books I intend to donate to the AAUW book sale. I've got to do better, though, because my bookshelves are still nearly full and I have crates of junk sitting around the perimeter of my office. Much of the excess on the floor are things I inherited from my mother.

I'm going to have to get tougher to make any progress on this. And getting tougher is going to be tough.

I don't know if you've ever seen the show, but Penn & Teller: Bullshi1</u> had an entire show devoted to Feng Shui, and it was hilarious!

Amazingly, I have seen nothing by Penn & Teller. I realize that this is a serious shortcoming in my life experience, something I should correct asap.
